Make Static Electricity

Here's how to make static electricity:
.small pieces of paper
.dry woolen cloth
.inflated balloon

1-Bring your comb near small pieces of paper and observe what happens.
2-Now rub your comb briskly with a dry woolen cloth.
3-Bring the comb towards some tiny pieces of paper and write down your observation.
4-Rub an inflated balloon with a woolen cloth.
5-Put the balloon against the wall and observe what happens.
6-Rub the balloon with the woolen cloth again.
7-Hold the balloon over very dry fine sand.

If you haven't understood how it works so here is an explanations:
.The pieces of paper did not react to the comb in the first step but after rubbing the comb with the cloth, the comb gained negative electrons so it becomes negatively charged and attracted the pieces of paper. The balloon stuck on the wall because it is negatively charged while the wall is positively charged. It will not do so if it is not rubbed with a woolen cloth. The same thing happened when in rubbing the balloon and holding it over fine sand. The balloon attracted the sand. This kind of electricity that stays fixed on a location is known as static electricity or electricity at rest.

Star Movement Observer

Here's how to make an observer to the Star Movement:

.masking tape

1-Get a cardboard and roll it to make a tube about a meter long and two centimeters in diameter.
2-Fasten the ends with tape.
3-Set the tube on a window sill or in any place where you can see the night sky clearly.
4-Look through the tube opening and focus on a bright star.
5-Fasten the tube with masking tape to keep it in place.
6-Draw the position of the star as seen through the tube. Observe the star for two hours.
7-Use your improvised tube to observe other stars. Do your observation on four consecutive nights.
 And now you can observe the movement of the star.

Homemade Glue

Here's how to make homemade glue:

1. Mix one cup of flour with one-half a cup of water together in the jar. Use the spoon to make sure the mixture is stirred well. This mixture will become as a glue.

Homemade Easy Automatic Balloon Pump

Here's how to make a homemade easy automatic balloon pump:
 . 40 ml of water
 . 1 spoon soda sodium bicarbonate.
 .Plastic Bottle
 .lemon juice
 .Juice straw

1-Add the 40 ml of water to the plastic bottle.
2- Add the spoon of soda to the bottle also and mix the soda and the water using the straw.
3- Add the lemon juice to the bottle and fastly stick the tip of the balloon on the head of the bottle.

And now watch the balloon getting blowed automatically using that bottle!!!

Homemade Heat Detector

Here's how to make a homemade heat detector:
.Rubber band
.Wooden block of wood. The wood block should be large enough for the rubber band to fit tightly around, but small enough not to snap the band.
.Large pin or thin nail
.Poster board or cardboard
.Matches or other direct heat source.

1. Cut the shape of an arrow from your poster board or cardboard. The arrow should be about the length of your wood block.
2. Take your rubber band and stretch it around the outer edge of your wooden block so it's snug.
3. Push your pin through your arrow at the center of the arrow base (the side opposite the arrow triangle).
4. Carefully place the pin under the rubber band, centered along one of the edges of the block.
5. Light a match and carefully bring it close to the rubber band, closest to the pin.
6. The cardboard arrow will begin to rotate slowly anti-clockwise.
7. Place the match on the opposite side of the pin.
8. The cardboard arrow will begin to rotate clockwise.

Make A Homemade Cup Of Lava

Here's how to make a homemade cup of lava:
 . Salt (1 or more teaspoons)
 .Tap water
 .1/4 cup of olive or vegetable oil
 .Food coloring (red, green, blue, and any other color you like)
 .Large clear glass
1. Fill the glass with tap water, about 2/3rds of the way. You'll need to add the oil later, so make sure there is enough room left in the cup.
2. Pour the oil into the glass slowly. The oil will float on top of the water (don't try to mix it in).
3. Add several drops of different food coloring to the water and oil.
4. Slowly sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt into the glass. Observe what happens to the oil and water mixture.

Homemade Easy Motor

Here's how to make an easy homemade motor:
 .A battery
 .A disc magnet
 .copper wire
 .A sharp pointed wood or drywall screw
1-Set the screw in the center of the disk magnet.

2-Cut the alligator test lead in half, and strip the insulation from the last inch of the cut end, so the strands of wire spread out like a brush.

3-Hold the alligator clip against the flat end of the battery.

4-Bring the button end of the battery to touch the point of the screw, and lift the screw and magnet an inch off the table (the screw will stick to the battery because of the magnet).

5-Gently hold the brush end of the wire against the edge of the magnet.

And now watch the wire turn around the battery functioning as a motor!!!

A Lemon as a battery

Here is a very easy project to light a small bulb using a lemon.
 .1 Lemon
 .Connecting wires
. Copper strip
 . Zinc Strip
1-Insert both Copper and Zinc Stirps to the lemon
2-Then the Copper acts as the positive pole and Zinc as the negative pole.
3-Add  the connecting wires to the strips and connect them to the bulb.
Here we are: The bulb is on!!!

How it works?
The lemon contains acid, so it reacts with both copper and zinc strip forming a low voltage!!!

Invisible ink project

Here is the first project which is: Invisible Ink!!!
Materials needed:
 .1 Lemon
 .Small Cup Of water
 .A Spoon
 .A dish
 .Ear cotton
 .Some papers to write on

1-Cut off the lemon and squeeze it in the dish.
2-Pour some drops of water in the dish.
3-Mix the water and the lemon in the dish using a spoon.
4-And now you have the invisible ink.
5-What to do now is put some drops of it on the ear cotton and use it as a pen to write on a paper.
6-Write whatever you want and then when you need the words to become clear to read, just put the paper facing the sun for a few minutes and see the words you have written!!!
